For more than 30 years, the Tucson Museum of Art League has sponsored Dinner a l’art as a delightful way to support TMA’s mission. The tradition continues in 2017 with a wide variety of unique dining experiences, beginning with Colombia: The Land of Magical Realism.
Travel to the land of Gabriel García Márquez and Fernando Botero, Amazonian Rainforests, Andes Mountains, and the world’s most famous coffee. Colombia is more than just a country; it is a gastronomic feast of flavors that fuel its rich, vibrant and culturally diverse people. From its high-altitude capital, Bogotá, and Cartagena on the Caribbean coast, to the Salsa Capital of the world, Calí, Colombia’s influences are a worldly convergence of its distinct indigenous people, historic colonial past and one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse countries in the world.
