During 2025, TMA will host the Mexican American Heritage and History Museum’s monthly history socials while the Sosa-Carrillo House is closed for remodel. The free talks were started and continue to be given by Trejo’s Tucson Walking Tours, during the program Mauro Trejo IV, Los Descendientes board member and MexAm Museum volunteer, will share insights on various aspects of Tucson’s history. On Thursday, April 17 at 5:30 p.m. join Mauro for an overview of utilities and infrastructure in territorial Tucson.
These History Socials celebrate the rich history and diverse culture of Tucson and the surrounding region and will form part of a year-long celebration honoring over 4,000 years of history, heritage, and culture in Tucson and Pima County. This milestone commemorates the 250th anniversary of Presidio San Agustín del Tucson, learn more about the celebration here.
History Social is held in the Kimball Community Room in the Alice Chaiten Baker Center for Art Education.

Las charlas gratuitas fueron iniciadas y continúan siendo impartidas por Trejo’s Tucson Walking Tours, durante el programa, Mauro Trejo IV, miembro de la junta directiva de Los Descendientes y voluntario del Museo MexAm compartirá ideas sobre varios aspectos de la historia de Tucson. El jueves 17 de abril a las 5:30 p.m. únase a Mauro para una descripción general de los servicios públicos y la infraestructura en el territorio de Tucson.
Estas reuniones sociales de historia celebran la rica historia y la diversa cultura de Tucson y la región circundante, y formarán parte de una celebración anual que honra más de 4,000 años de historia, patrimonio y cultura en Tucson y el Condado de Pima.
