Linda Friedman – Navajo Rugs: The History, The Artistry, and The Contemporary

February 22 at 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Every Navajo rug, like its weaver, is an individual. We will explore the history, the stylistic characteristics, and the beauty that define Navajo rugs as an enduring and contemporary art form.

This lecture is part of a series examining art and artists, presented by the Tucson Museum of Art Docent Council.

TMA Docents bring art education to school children, museum visitors, and the local community through many different programs. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a docent contact [email protected]
