Arbor Day Celebration Tree Trimming @ TMA

Outside Cafe a la C'Art on the sidewalk adjacent to Main Avenue is an old and venerable California Pepper Tree, planted by Hiram Stevens around 1875 (pictured above today and in 1900). The tree is believed to be one of the oldest planted in Tucson that is still living. At 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 27, the day after Arbor Day, The Southern Arizona Arborist Group SAAG will publically prune the tree to preserve and maintain its health for years to come. Feel free…
